recently diagnosed w/ polycythemia and I dont have anyone to talk to. I am really afraid but Im putting up a front as if everything is o.k

I have been dx'ed with polycythemia among a number of diseases and I have a four year old son. He just knows that mommy is sick and doing everything that she can to get better. He also realizes that sometimes mommy can't do the things that he would like to do, so we improvise. I hope that you are doing well, I know how frightening this dx is. I do want you to know that I am doing better and the hemo is letting me handle my disease my way and he says that I am doing better than he ever expected.
