Metformin and being tired

Hello ladies. i thought i would share with you that I researched Metformin. If you are taking this such as I am, you are depleating your body of B-12.
I only know because I read about it and just today I took a B-12 packet and i felt better. I wasn't as sluggish and I noticed I had more energy. This happened in only one day:) I did notice a difference:)

" I am not sure yet what the mg we need daily of B-12 as of yet. i am still researching. I took a packet that has 2mg and it contained folic acid of 400mg.
I read lastnight that wemon with insulin resistance also need B-12 and folic acid. It helps restore our red blood cells. This will be the reasoning behind so many of us being tired all the time even if we are not on metformin. Red blood cells are what keeps our immune system built up and help fight infection:)
I will write more as I learn. Good luck ladies and best wishes. "

" I think I have heard that somewhere before but I know now for sure! I take 2000 mg of metformin a day but for me the worst side effect is the upset stomach. I will try a supplement and see if that helps!
Thanks "
