Well ended up in E.R. today cuz of chest pain and shortness of breath. They did an EKG and complete blood work and chest x-rays of lungs and heart and thank god everything was great except my blood pressure was and stayed at 169/100 the whole 3 hours i was there so im thinking now would be a good time to stop worrying about taking the B/P meds and just take them before the damage is done !!! At least i know that my lungs and heart are good and that the pain in my lungs in the morning is really from the severe pressure of my kidneys and the gravity K Well take care all :O)
P.S. They also gave me something called Ativan for my anxiety even though i told them that i had just started leapro ,they said the ativan is FAST acting and will help with my panic and anxiety attacks as the lexapro will take a few weeks before i start to notice anything hopefully i can take those two anxiety meds together ...

" Alot of drs told me that sudden rise in BP is cuz of the pain I am going thru. Once I take my med, my bp will go down. I get chew out for not takin my pain med. ugh. I have anxiety/panic disorders for over 20 years. I take xanax for it. Any thing like sharp pain, hotflash and those nasty MRI test can trigger an attack. Also when in pain we have the tendency to scrunch our shoulders which in turn will cause pain in our chest/ribs and muscle spasms. That is one of my downfall. Any way I am so glad your heart and lung test came back good. It will ease your mind alot. Please take care hon. Lette =) "

" Glad to read you're OK.

I did my BP when I had a kidney stone and it was 174/110. It stayed high until the stone went into the bladder.

A few weeks back I had chest pain, but no shortness of breath. It felt kind of like heartburn without eat anything bad. I found out that "heartburn" can result from eating food and breathing impure air. A guy I was working with had an infected tooth that was rotting inside. I found an exercise that calms the heart, clears the lungs, & lowered my BP.

I know that this is easy for me to say, but you're on too many meds! I beleive that medicine is meant to help us until we can help ourselves. (eg. take painkiller until pain goes away) The mind and body are stronger than we think it is. "

" God you sound just like me, I'm so panicky I can hardly breathe at times: I've been put on b/p tablets since July for the PKD, never wanted to take these as they are not good for the kidneys, my doc also put me on simvastin for colestrol; but I'm not taking them cause they cause further kidney damage.
