I just have this awful feeling that having a baby is never going to happen for Brett and I. At first seeing that other women with PCOS have had children made me feel better. But now I for some reason just feel incredibly... hopeless. I went to Kroger to buy a Ovulation Kit & it says right on the box that it might not work with certain meds and conditions such as PCOS... I bawled right in the middle of Kroger all by myself. I've been an emotional wreck. Poor Brett has been dealing with my moods so well, but I feel guilty for putting him through it. I know I get ridiculous sometimes, but it's uncontrollable. I think I've cried almost every day since last week. I hate feeling like this. I hope and wish so hard that all of us could just be like the women that have no problems with fertility. I dont understand.

" I hear you!!! I have been feeling exactly the same - damn clomid!! I am usually quite a sane person off it - my poor DH doesn't know what to do with me. 4th cycle of clomid this month and I don't think I O'ed again, one more cycle (for what it's worth never ovulated on it) and onto injectables for me - I never thought it would be this hard! " The emotional days are so hard I shouldn't even say days cause for me it's sometimes weeks . Don't give up I know right now it seems like its not going to happen but it will . You should try what I do it helps me . I run a nice warm bath , and light a few candles I turn soft music on and dim the lights in the bathroom and just relax . It's so nice no one to bother you and it seems to just make me feel comfortable . I do it alot now that my husband works evenings it's relaxing . Give it a try . "

" I'm new to all of this and PCOS. However, I have a friend that was charting everything and trying to conceive and she couldn't and couldn't and they were about to try invitro. Well, they had to wait two months for the appt and being off other meds. except clomid or something along that lines. They were charting for the procedure, but not for conceiving. So they sort of relaxed not expecting to get pregnant, and she did and has a beautiful two year old and another on the way (natural too!) I will be up against this soon and I'm scared to death I won't be able to conceive. So certainly chart and try but remember to make your baby in love too, I think the body works when it's more relaxed. "

" It only says that on the box because we PCOS women don't ovualte normally. If your not on a medication to help you then it's not going to work because odds are you won't ovulate w/o them. If you are on Clomid or something similar don't get upset it may work if you don't get a surge contact a your doc there are medications that will help you release your eggs. Don't get discouraged I feel the same as you but one day we will get our babies! "
