My name is Ruby, I am the founder of a free online support group for survivors of abuse and people wishing to learn more about toxic behavior called, "Physical and Emotional Abuse Survivors". This group was founded in early 2008 and we have over 300+ members who are engaging each other with in-depth conversations about abuse, writing daily journals, sharing experiences, giving advice and helping others when they need guidance and support.
We have begun building a free online abuse survivors resource library where our members can hear free audio books, guided meditations, and hear positive affirmations to help fight the negative "trigger thoughts". One of the aspects of the group is to have interactive discussions with trained professionals, authors, and organizations who wish to help educate the public through our chatroom. Each month we will read various books about abuse. After reading the books we will have an hour long open discussion in our chatroom about what we have read in the various chapters, as well how can utilized the advice from the book to self empower ourselves to help us heal.
