" Hey :)
I went through something simular last year.
Maybe, when you find yourself thinking about it, try to think about something else, read a funny book, or watch someting funny on Tv, or call a friend...
I hope this helped :) "

" Death really scares me too. I suggest you see a dr. I had a 'vision' a couple years ago about my death, and I still think it will come true (I think it might happen this August). I'm scared for that month to come.
You really do need to talk to someone about this though. "

" hi, does your family know about this? you really need to tell your parents so you can get into some medication and counseling. I'm sure many others your age have these thoughts but there's no need to suffer alone when help is available. Get it now. "

" I've always had these thoughts. You really need to talk to your parents, tell them whats going on, everything. Hopefully your parents would be more understanding than mine. They basically ignored me.. If you tell them your thoughts I am sure they would get you in therapy and medical attention. Your too young to rob yourself of anything you want to do in life. There is too much to live for, find something that interests you and go for it. Don't let yourself lose yourself. "

" sophiebear, i had a date set too, I dreamt of it when I was a kid. As that date approached, I got more and more agitated, I thought I was going to have a heart attack, my heart would start palpitating. It was just anxiety. After the date came and went, i got a little better with the panic attacks. Still have 'em for other reasons, but that's another support group. I think the fear of death is perfectly normal.

If you're thinking about death all the time, and it doesn't necessarily scare ya, you should seek some kind of help.

Unlike some would like you to believe, when you die, you don't necessarily become another form of energy other than heat from being compost, in any case, compost doesn't happen too well when they preserve your body for burial. when you die, you're gone. There's no guarantee that your memories will be retained as you know them. It ends, so if you think about it all the time, seek help, there is no other side. "

" i had this for years
went to the docs with it
and looked a total idiot.
i went because it was destroying me cryed for over a year every night dreaming death and being killed every night for a year really freaks you out.In the end i realized it was frear of not living. it was reversed and i was so scared of death when really it was because my life was not happening at all and it was running out of time to happen.
i dont want to die = i want to live. "

" I am going through the same thing right now. Have been for some time now I believe. I am always so scared that I will die some horrible death(I am scared to drive) so then I won't be able to live until I am old with beautiful children and to make love to the man that I love. I plan on waiting until I'm married. I even worry about dying and never actually never knowing what making love was like. But then I just think about how God is more important than making love, ha.. " But for advice, just think about something else happy or talk to someone who can easily take it off of your mind. Do something that is entertaining! "

" Hi, I have found that talking to my therapist about this has helped so much. There are so many people who want to push their thinking/spirituality at you. For me, I felt better when I discovered what it meant for me personally. This came by exploring my thought through the therapist. "
