do you mean risperdol? if so i'm on it and actually lost weight also it makes me very tired.

yes risperdol .. i think it's spelled risperadel on my bottle so i hope it's the same thing as you're talking about .. it makes me tired too .. & not really hungry at all so i was just curious because i've quit taking meds in the past because of weight gain

was on that, never had weight gain but was so so tired on it I just couldnt function properly so i came off it

sorry to be the bearer of bad news but when i was on it i gained 4 stone but one of the reasons couldve been that antipsychotics aggrivate diabetes which at the time i was controlling badly but yh i gained loads and no a few people who have also gaind 2 or more stone but every1 is different

I gained a lot of weight on Risperdal. The problem is I have read that when you gain weight that means the drug is actually working. That is, you can be thin and psychotic or fat and non-psychotic. Since I have a lot of obligations in my life, I cannot afford to be psychotic. I hurt myself and others around me if I am. I was also tired, but if you stick it out, it goes away. All meds have side effects, which may or may not effect and individual, you just have to weigh the good against the bad.

It worked well for me with no weight gain
