HI, YA! I WAS WONDERING WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT THIS ESOPHAGEAL/GASTRIC ULCER DILEMMA, WHEN I THOUGHT ABOUT THERE BEING A GROUP HERE TO LEARN FROM. I AM ALMOST 9 MOS ON THE 40 MG NEXIUM AND AM STILL ALWAYS NAUSEOUS...THE ACID REFLUX IS LESSENED, BUT THAT IS ABOUT IT. I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO TAKE A DRUG FOR NAUSEA, I WANT SOME HEALING HERE...IT'S ABOUT TIME, I THINK. I NEED TRANQUILIZERS FOR A FEW MONTHS TO GET RID OF THIS, I'VE HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS IN THE PAST, NEVER THIS BAD.MY GI TOLD ME HE WOULDN'T GIVE THEM TO ME, BUT I PROBABLY WOULDN'T IMPROVE WITHOUT THEM. THEN HE TOLD ME TO GO BACK TO THE DR THAT GAVE THEM TO ME THE LAST TIME.
I WAS APALLED/INSULTED/HURT/SORRY. I ALSO CANCELLED THE NEXT APPT THEY GAVE ME. I RAN OUT OF NEXIUM AND I DIDN'T TAKE ANYTHING YESTERDAY OR TODAY. NO ACID REFLUX, THAT'S GOOD, BUT THE SAME SICK FEELING IN MY STOMACH WHICH I HAVE WHEN I TAKE THEM. WHY AM I SPENDING ALL THIS MONEY ON THE MEDS AND DR. TO GET NO-WHERE?? ANY IDEAS? DURING THE ENDOSCOPY, THIS SAME DR. BROKE OFF MY TWO FRONT TEETH. I WENT TO HIS WIFE DENTIST ACROSS THE HALL, I NOW HAVE DIFFERENT SHADED FRONT TEETH, 3X THE THICKNESS OF MY OTHER TEETH,I.E. THEY STICK OUT, AND I HAVE A SEPARATION BETWEEN MY FRONT TEETH NOW. I'D LIKE TO PICKET THEIR OFFICE..FOR NOW AM APPEALING CLAIM FOR TEETH FOR GOOD DENTIST,SO NOW I NEED FEEDBACK ON THE TREATMENT HE IS GIVING OR WAS GIVING ME(!!!!!!!). ALSO, FUNNY THING IS WHEN I DRINK MILK I GET SUCH A SOUR STOMACH...MY MOUTH TASTES SOUR ALL DAY...IS THIS COMMON OR WHAT? I'D APPRECIATE YOUR INPUT...ALSO, I GOT THE ULCERS AS MY HUSBAND IS ABUSIVE. No excuse to chip teeth and no excuse to botch the repair like that. Can't get teeth back, but make them pay someone competant to fix them right. I am trying to get out and it is hard to get out of abusive relationship. You can't get help til out and may still not. I will go when it is warm enough to live in car. Stress and pain are aggravating my stomach. Waiting on scope and worried about it too. Mom and Gram had bleeding ulcers.
Seems like they always refuse a drug once it works. Try Valerian blend for stress. It is what they got valium from and powerful to me. I know you have good reason to be angry and yell or may not know you are yelling, but would be easier to read the post if not in caps. Thanks.

I am going through a similiar situation. I just had an endoscopy and found out that I have a pre-ulcer condition (gastritis). My doctor biopsied for H.Pylori - which is the bacteria in you stomach that causes ulcers. Did your doctor biopysy or do blood work to determine whether you have H.Pylori. If you do, they should put you on antibiotic therapy. Once you get rid of the bacteria, the ulcers will heal... Please keep in touch...Karin

OMG! I'm new to this and mortified!!! I haven't even gotten my endoscopy yet and now I really don't think I want to!
