The five stages of grief

As a former spouse of an MLC'er (Midlife crisis sufferer) I learned a
lot of bout grief...
We as human beings have 5 identified stages of grief, and these may be manifested anytime our hopes or dreams are thwarted by occurences we do not lie and did not plan for.
A spouses Mid life crisis can be one of those or your own Midlife Crisis can be one of those tow.
I learned about these from Kubler Ross and her work on death and dying.
The stages of grief will definitely be manifested when you begin to suffer from a life changing illness.
Parkinson's would be one of those...
The first of the stages is Denial....and its not a river in Egypt.
"its just a trmbling when I am tired, its nerves, its dehydration, its a pinched nerve, its old age....
The second is Bargaining. "If I promise God to never look at porn again it will go away, I will just rest and it will get better, I will eat better, I will exercise more, ...etc.
The third is Anger, "this isn't Fair, I don't deserve this...Why is this happening to me!
The fourth is Depression. You" turtle" for a while, stay home, don't talk to anyone, feel really really bad....regret can be a killer here.
The Fifth is Acceptance. You realize you will be ok, even in the worst of it, you are a good person, and life is as it should be.
