Parents of Children with ADHD Support Group

hmmmm, could you do a survey make it so it is anonomus (spelling sorry) just check the boxes etc...see if any are ADHD, were too talk in school, too smart, too anything, then try questions about how their childhood was for learning.. friendships.. peer pressures.. self esteem..all that stuff our kids have to deal with. Then maybe you would have some stats as to do ADHD kids, or sick kids, or short kids, or fat kids, have a harder time in school?
Can I go back to school and do this asignment....I'm sick of working!! :o)

thank you, yes, that is a good idea- I'd love to research ADD/ADHD since its such a pervasive subject among people... since i have to do it with college kids, i could do a similar thing, but id have to run it by my teacher to see if it would work :)

Have you heard of Survey Monkey? I think it is a free website that you could do an anonymous survey!! I like CynB idea. Figure out how many responses you need in order for your data to be valid. Maybe you could advertise in the school paper the website to increase your catch!! You could ask for all kinds of variables like Cyn said around height, IQ, LDs, ADD, etc. Your report could be on the outcomes relationships, trying recreational drugs or unauthorized prescription med, sex at an early age, drinking at an early age. etc....Good luck. I hope this is not getting to you too late. Oh well if so...CynB you want to work on this with me :) I'm bored with my job too!!! I need something with impact and relevance!!
