Shoes
What type of shoes do you wear? My feet swell so a slip on is best for me.

I recently had a satori - My old clothes are not completely suited to my new life. I've been dressing in the same western shirts, jeans and boots that i have worn most of my life. I did this reclaim my old persona - or as much of it as i could. Time for a change.
Now here is my question: How many of you wear skirts or shorts? I'm still a little self conscious about my legs. Does that go away with time? Second question: how feminine can i really look in a wheelchair? I looked pretty feminine on horseback, but it's not the same. I wear baggy sweats to work out in, but I have too much self respect to go around wearing those all the time. I ned a new look and I'm not sure what to go for. Help me out, girls! Item no. 1 - length of skirts or dresses or pants. Gotten them caught in my manual chair so often. Had to cut them off & taper them also.
Been pretty butch all my life so it is main slacks & Polo shirts for me. I have seen plenty of feminine, girlie, girls out there in chairs. I'll see if I can find some sites for you.

Another thing I have done is with a terry cloth bath robe. Cut the back out, the part you sit on. Sure makes transferring & getting dry so much easier.

This is a good magazine, which I got for free for a while but don't get any longer. Can't afford it at the moment. You might want to look into it.
