Two yrs.ago outside my house.My daughter and I were just outside and we started walking when a car full of teenagers that were part of a gang started speeding down our street and also shooting.I was shot in my spine cord.My daughter was doa at the hospital.I have only got out rehab a year ago today.c6 and c7 were damaged.

My husband had a head on collision in Grundy, VA on 9-3=07 and is still in hospital t-11 I feel like this nightmare will never end how do you make it through?

Because the alternative is death and I'm not ready for that yet. I thought that I was, but I wasn't.
Every day is a new battle and so far, I've won. I've accepted that I don't need legs to live. I've learned that life really does go on. All of that sounds trite when you're hurting, doesn't it? I wish I had a better answer for you.

Hi KayKay. As Caitlin says, it is a day at a time. I am a triplegic, only one arm works. i live alone.
Can't imagine how it is for you. But i know you can make it thru this.
