I read it Nursey. Some parts are good and others I don't agree with. He's sort of against SSRI anti-depressants and this is the medication that resolved my panic condition, so I can't agree with him on this. I'm not saying that everyone who has ever had a panic attack should go on SSRI anti-depressants, but having lived with this condition for so very long and then to finally find relief from it and then read he is somewhat against them, well, I trust my own psychiatrist more. He also doesn't have an understanding of the relationship between women's hormones and their effect on depression, panic and anxiety. I left the name of the book for that in another discussion you started. He does list conditions you should get checked out that can contribute to panic and I think they are important to know about. One thing I liked in his book was his statement that a panic disorder should be classified not as a mental illness, but as a medical condition. That's really how I feel about it. Nicki

FYI - My psychiatrist told me to AVOID decongestants. They can cause panic attacks in people with the condition. Nicki
