its a popular prozac type med, what it did for others is no indication of what it will do for you

I am currently on celexa. I started it about 3 weeks ago. The first few days were VERY rough. I experienced many side effects, but it's starting to level out. I have lost 6lbs since i've been on it b/c i have no appetite. It is helping the anxiety to lessen

I take it. It works well with my system.

I take Celexa and it has helped quit a bit, although I am still having problems with driving (which I still love to do) and being left alone. That's when I panic. Somedays I wake up shakey, feeling like I'm in a zone, but it's getting better.

Yup I'm on it and it works real good for me. The only problem is when you discountinue use, do it real gradually, otherwise might end up w insomnia (like me) :o))

I've been taking it for several years, and it is the best med I've taken. I also liked Paxil, but it gave me sexual side effects. They tried to switch me to Lexapro last year, saying that it wa sa newer drug and might work better... but it was HORRIBLE for me! I had terrible digestive side effects.

Unfortunately, with these meds, you have to try them to see if they will work for you.
