Has anyone ever tried being hypnotized for panic attacks and anxiety? I have a consult on Thursday with a certified hypnotherapist who "loves" to work w/ people who have anxiety. I am not putting all my eggs in one basket, but I do feel a little hopeful. Anyone have success stories?

" Well hypnotherapy has helped people stop smoking, lose weight, overcome the fear of flying. Heck, you never know. I would give it a try if I could find someone around here that specializes in this. Good luck and let us know how you do. "

" I just had my first meeting with a hypnotherapist last Monday. MY first hypno appt is Tuesday. I asked my regular therapist about it, and she said she's seen people have great success with it. She said anything that may help is worth a try. My hypnotherapist said it works by tapping into your subconsious to re-train it. I am excited to try it. (Ironicly, I have Oprah on my tv now and she's doing something where people are getting hypnotized. Watch if you can)
I say go for it! MY hypnotherapist said it will take 4 sessions and I should feel much better. She said she'll help with my anxiety, phobias and panic attacks. Message me if you want to compare notes! :)
Good luck!!! "
