I had a whipple procedure, that is where they took a 1/3 of my pancreas, 1/3 of my stomach and 1/3 of my small intestine.I am still having problems. I was told that they might have to take my pancreas anyway. They thought I had the cancer though and told me I had 6 months to a year if I didn't have the surgery.

I had a laparoscopic Whipple procedure done the beginning of June. I am doing very well. I have to eat in smaller amounts and some fatty foods still bother a little. I saw my surgeon recently, and he said that both of those things will get better in a couple months.
