Oddly enough, ever since I was raped, I have been using sex as a coping skill. I'd be with a guy for a couple months and we'd have sex at least two to three times a week.
About a year and a half ago, I started dating a guy who I eventually moved in with. I contracted herpes from him. He was an addict and in therapy as well, and it was almost unnatural if we didn't have sex (unprotected) at least once a day. Maybe six months into the relationship I started having severe pain on the inside. Many times he had to stop because of the pain. I went to the obgyn and she hasn't been able to figure things out. I started dating a new guy, and we have protected sex pretty much every day. For the first three months it was awesome- no pain. So last week when I started experiencing pain during intercourse, I became extremely worried. I really don't understand what's happening- and the obvious answer is not possible. I have an addiction, and I am working in therapy on it, but I literally cannot live without sex. Help?? Posted on 01/28/08, 09:01 pm |
