I'm not expert about whether you have a STD or not but the best thing to do would be to go to the gyno. If it is a STD and not fixed, it could lead to serious problems.

I know they are scary at times, trust me I HATE the gyno, but it's best for your health and for you to know whats wrong. Just explain to them everything that is going on and explain that you are scared to be there....usually they will be a lot more gentle and sometimes it helps if they are explaining exactly what they are doing. If your gyno won't accept this, then get a new one. But please go get it checked!

I agree, find a sympathetic dr and get checked out asap. STDs can stay around along time. Ask your doctor as many questions about the procedures as you need to. Knowledge so you can take action can be a very powerful thing and I think you need to feel like you have some control over your life and body after all of this.

i have the same problem it was with my x boyfreind though and it always hurts, and i don't think it's a std, mine wasn't the docs still don't know whats wrong with me i wish i could help u but just go to the doc and get tested the last i went was a few months ago and i had to have my mom beside me holding my hand it hurt so bad......so i know how bad it hurts i'm sorry you have to go through that, but good luck and i hope things work out for u :)

maybe you could try and see if its thrush first. you dont have to go to the doctor for this you can get an over the counter medication, i m in australia and theyre called things like cannisten once pessary etc. if you get one of those and that works and the discharce leaves you just had thrush, another way of treating thrush is accedophilus(cant spell) either in yogurt or you can get a tablet for it. it sounds like thrush, what colour is the discharge? i have a problem with doctors my husband is always geting up me cause i dont go even though i have chronic pain, i have started to now though and it is worth it. im feeling better. are you still with your fiance? you need to respect your body enough to help it get better, there is nothing to be ashamed of most of us get a bit of this sort of thing from time to time

You really need to get checked get someone you really trust a friend or family member to go with you.It may not be a std and the only way to stop yourself from worrying is to find out once and for all.

Just a thought but I have found that a female gyn Dr. is always more patient and gentle than a male gyn. Let them know your history and what happened at previous Dr. visits so they know how best to help you. But please don't wait. You really need to find out what is wrong..Good luck to you...

i understand what u goin threw.i hate bein touched down there cos im sure&i was raped so makes harder..i no its goin be hard but try go again&see a different doctor cos i had keep tryin even thou it killed&still hurts now as stays with u on ur brain so wont go away..best make sure u not got anything for peace of mind.
