I was recently diagnosed with this....
in simple terms....pretty much your muscles tighten in that area whenever anything gets near it causing pain, discomfort or anything. The thing that sucks about it is that it is involuntary so you don't even realize that you are doing it... I'm not an expert at it, since I was just diagnosed with this like 3 months ago, but if you want to talk more about it, just let me know.
