You may have some minor tearing of tissue from inside that is causing the bleeding. I have also had similar problems, but it goes away as quickly as it starts. If you are really concerned, you need to push your doc to check this out. Best of luck to you.

Years ago when I had an IUD in, I bled. So it just might be the IUD. In fact, I remember hurting from it too. It caused me to have infections and other problems so I had it taken out. Sex was better after that.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.I HAVE BEEN TOLD ALSO THAT ITS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT BUT I THINK THAT IT MIGHT BE.I AM ALWAYS PUTTING IT OFF AS LONG AS I CAN BUTWHEN I DO HAVE SEX I BLEED AND I FEEL VERY SENSITIVE FOR A COUPLE DAYS,WITH A SWOLLEN FEELING ALSO.I HAVE JUST HAD TO DEAL WITH IT.I WISH YOU LUCK IN FINDING A CURE FOR IT

I feel u all the way Liz. I wish that I could just find a doctor that actually became a doctor to help people an not for the money. LOL. I have yet come across this. I get the same feeling after sex I start bleeding and I had checked my cervix the one time after sex one night and noticed that it was swollen and I have a lump on there. I mentioned this to the doctor also and they said that the lump on there is normal. I make sure I keep an eye on it and to me it is not normal because it is still there and has gotten bigger. I do not know if this may be causing all of my problems or not. I guess I will never know.LOL. Since according to the doctors that this is all normal. I hope that you are able to find some answers and a cure also. Take care. Is it just me or are we surrounded by imbecile doctors? I have just found this support group and am stunned by what I read. Firstly, I thought I was alone in my painful intercourse.
Secondly, thank GOD for this site. Thirdly, why do we put up with doctors telling us this SHIT? We KNOW something is wrong. If our husbands/boyfriends/fiances etc were having painful intercourse you can BET they would be flying to a doctor for help, and if they did not get help, they would turbo jet themselves to as many as possible until they got an answer. I can also tell you that if those EFFING doctors had a sore dick when they had intercourse, they would find and answer before bedtime.
My suggestion.....FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR.....try a female one....
DON't give up. TALK to your husband. Suggest he put sandpaper on his dick next time if he is not understanding.
