Today I have something to tell you which is probably relevant to all OC patients who underwent/going to have Paclitaxel .
It is possible that Paclitaxel induces Insulin resistance /lowers Insulin production from Pancreas giving a Diabetes like state .
You may remember I have been bleating about a headache for last 4 months , ever since my chemo with CARBOPLATIN/PACLITAX...

The sun has shown it's face and I'm hoping it stays for more than a couple of minutes.. I had an email from Mary Shultz in Canada and filled her in on all the news here.. She sounds fine. Dr. appt today and hardly slept at all last night. Anxious as to what will be decided on how to treat my new (old) cancer. I talked to a nurse on phone yesterday and she explained that it is not lymphoma but two lumps in a cluster of lymph nodes. Will keep ya all posted. -

Maybe I should see a neurologist to see if the constant pain weakness and fatigue is due to the long term effects of the chemo.
It seems that any attempt to gain stength seems to fail. Maybe their is a reason for it.

Very exhausting day. Probably should rest but just feel totally defeated.
Usually the chrio does not give up on me. But I sort of got the feeling that he is going to push me off to somebody else if this does not get solved soon.
Got an email from a friend and she really enjoyed the concert that I missed.
Somedays it hurts so much.

Had a rough time with pt today. More trouble with standing on one foot. Balance has always been an issue. Doing squats hurt my back a lot.
The chrio said if the wrist issues are not resolved with new measures he might need to send me to somebody else. A hand specialist I am sick of seeing new specialists.
Right now I see Dr. K for kidney issues, Dr. W for diabetes and Graves... -

Not wanting to go to water pt tomorrow. I am worried that being in so much pain that I will suck.
I hate the exercise of standing on one leg. I can not balance and I feel foolish trying it.
Afraid that I will have to go on the step. Last time I could only go up three times with much pain. Both legs swelled the next day.

Went to a sculpture park with my boyfriend and his daughter. The scupltures were pretty cool. However I felt bad that my boyfriend had to push me in the heat.

Hey everybody life is so good right now! I am at a weight stall right now so I hold steady at about 30lbs lost. I do think my MS feels better, less ticks and vibrations. I am getting ready to go back to work on Mon after being off for a month. So MS may have gotten better because I haven't been working. We shall see!
