I'm 18 years old and I was just diagnosed with Choroidel Osteoma and I am scared.It is a very rare thing so it is hard to find people with it that I can talk to.They say that it is benign though which is good.I go to a Retina specialist on Thursday to see what they say.I'm scared because we researched it and it says that you could become blind or have a blind spot from taking it off with lasers.I got 2 opinions yesterday from some eye doctors.I mean,they are not sending me to the hospital right away or anything so it must not be anything severe.They say that it is close to my optic nerve though.So if anyone knows anything about this condition,can you please help me out?I'm so scared.
