I went to Boston today for my regular pulmonary appointment and a flu shot....got more than I bargained for... We talked about how stable my PFT's, 6 minute walk & every other test is, and how that affects me on the list. I had a similar conversation with the transplant doc on Sept. 4th. Good Morning
Got up at 3:00 again this morning. It seems to be my new routine. I get up let the dogs out and have a cup of tea. Trying to quit the coffee again. My doctor called and said he wants me to talk to the dietician. Can't gain that weight he wants me to gain. I even drank the protein drink he gave me and it just went right on through. i've been absolutely, can'tgetoutofbed exhausted, but last night i couldn't fall asleep... i even took a unisom, but i just layed in bed for almost 7 hours... my body was tired, i couldn't even keep my eyes open, and i was brain foggy. but i couldn't sleep... it was maddening...

Well yesterday was a great day. My son Charlie went to court and the judge ruled in his favor. Nancy's parental rights have been terminated. She can no longer make any decisions regarding the kids. Then when she wants to visit all visits have to be supervised by a social worker. She has kept the kids isolated from Charlie for so long and finally he has his rights. I and mom thought that he was going to find out a date when they were going to be installing it. I've had a sore spot on the inside on my lip by my gums for the past few days. It feels like raw skin... Today I have a sore throat and the inside of my nose feels raw, like it's on fire... It's October first and still visiting my daughter and ex-wife. Having a great time when I'm feeling good. I've been sick about 5 days out of the 18 I've been here. Pretty normal for me. Took my ex-wives two year old out shopping and to the Portland Childrens Museum today. What a workout. Saw the doc today... my sed rate was slightly elevated but all the other bloodwork was normal. She said, and I quote, "This is not MS, this is definitely your ulnar nerve. With MS you get random numbness that doesn't follow a nerve pattern". So I guess that's good... But what about when my legs went numb last winter? What was that about? Well my son Charley has been in court for 3 weeks now fighting for his 2 kids. The social worker and her attorney are on my sons side, which is very good news. His attorney said he doesn't think he has anything to worry about. My ex-daughter-in-law is still wearing the engagement ring of the man who is now in jail for beating up her 2 year old. I'm so tired. I had to get up at 6am for my first college class that starts at 7am. I got no sleep last night because my little brother was freaked out by the thunder and lightening and wouldn't calm down. My dad is in Chicago so I'm pretty much taking care of things here. There has been really weird thunder storms today. I hope they dont last for very long.
