" I am exactly the same way. I have those three. My depression isn't usually really bad, just kind of chronic. I have a type of clinical depression called Dysthemia. It's almost like a personality trait rather than a major depression. A greying of life so to speak. Sometimes it gets better, sometimes worse. I honestly think OCD is behind all of that. But I think that when you have one chemical imbalance, others are bound to be there too. So who really knows what is primary. It gets even tougher when you have say bipolar disorder and OCD. They are separate things but I think they go together in a way. Even schizophrenia and OCD are often found together (which kind makes sense to me... both are based on negative voices. One audible and the other just in the head.) Anyway, I doubt anyone has just OCD. If you dig a little more, you'll find something else there too. "

" I have only been diagnosed with OCD but I have only been seeing someone for about2 months because a particular spike in thoughts drove me to finally see what was wrong with me.

However, sometimes I will just get really sad. I will feel anxious and guilty but about nothing in particular. I will talk about this with my therapist soon, but I am sure there is something else going on. Anyone have any ideas? "

" i have several other disorders (OCD, bipolar, schizoaffective, social anxiety, and polysubstance dependency). i am one messed up individual most of the time. i think that the bipolar is the most prominent because of the drastic highs and lows. one disorder is bad enough but i have a hard time living from day to day because if its not one disorder that im experiencing its another. i never feel good or even close to normal.
