Just wanted to say that I hate the dewpoint when it's over 60! It has been so muggy here in Boston for the past few days and it will be continuing throughout the week. Yesterday was our company's cookout party and it was held at a great place with bumper boats and miniature golf and volley ball and great food...something for everyone. My husband and I were enjoying ourselves under this big event tent that had one of those gigantic fans blowing, keeping the area very comfortable. The second we left to go wander the grounds and play some miniature golf, it was as if the water in the air was clinging to us. My hair, my clothes, my enthusiasm seemed to be dampened and my ankles swelled up just by being outside. I didn't even exert myself, and I wound up looking like I had just gotten watered!
I felt like I was the only person there that was dealing with it, and I was starting to feel like it's all because of my weight and how I know skinny people who absolutely love this kind of weather. As it turns out, most of my colleagues were complaining about how awful it was, and some folks didn't even leave the tent area because they couldn't stand the humidity and heat. I need to stop thinking that I'm the only person in the entire world that feels the way I do. I know I am not alone, and it's not a weight issue - it's a weather issue. I hope you are somewhere cool and dry!!

" It's a coast thing. I live in PA and this weekend was torture. You are not alone with the humidity thing. I love it when you walk outside from air conditioning and you can't even breath air...there is none to acquire.

I was on the other coast in June, it was in the high 90's..I could breathe..it was nice..no humidity.

Be thankful you aren't in Orlando...it's worse. "
