Hi everyone and I just wanted to know how do you lose weight when you legs do not work like they use to. I cannot walk for very long and my legs just stop. I have MS and I do not know what to do to lose weight. I just cleaned out one of my closets and put my skinny clothes in a bags. I am going to give them to people who are needy. Not saying I'm not but when I was working I could afford designer clothes and suits and etc so I will give them to someone who is going back to the work force. I will not be using them. Anyway am I rambling on.

The question was how do I lose weight without walking or using much of my legs?

Anyone?

" I remember reading on another website about exercise videos that are meant for people with limited movement. One website, 'liquiddietdiscussionboard' has members that are extemely overweight so I bet if you post a question there you might get some answers. It's worth a try and doesn't cost anything. Good luck. "

" Just wanted to add....I don't think YOU are extremely overweight! I mentioned that website because some of the people weigh over 300 pounds and are limited as to what they can do. Might be a good place to get some info. "

" There is a TV show on some PBS stations called "Sit and Be Fit" - which is for people with limited mobility caused by weight, age, stroke, other physical issues. It is usually on at some VERY early hour so you might want to record it.

They have a web site and they also sell tapes and DVD's of their exercise routines. Most can be done sitting, or holding on to a chair for balance.
