Hello,
My name is Nicole Robinson and I am a graduate student in a Communication & Media Technologies/Health Systems Administration at Rochester Institute of Technology. I’m studying how people talk about cancer with one another. This is an important topic because these conversations affect how people think about cancer prevention and treatment. Despite this, it is a topic that we know very little about. As a member of this cancer discussion group, you are someone who is especially able to help us learn about this topic by participating in a brief, online, anonymous survey. Nicole your survey wouldn't come up for me so I have'nt seen it, but people togther with cancer talk about it matter of factly,often with humour, and always with support for those who are down. Neither are we too scared to ask 'how are you?' It is so hurtful to never have those who care about you to simply ask how you are.
