My little girls legs spasm while she is asleep. I remember telling her Doctor about it but he just dismissed it. Know that we know she has a fibroma in her brain stem.... I'm wondering if this is a syptom since the brain stem controls sleep as many other fuctions? anybody has any info.. it will be helpful

I have an astrocytoma on my trigeminal nerve in my brain stem. It became cystic and I had surgery 9 years ago. I too have leg spasms in my sleep (so my husband tells me). They do not wake me up, I do not know that I do it. Of course none of my docs seem to pay it much mind. no one really connects it to my NF1.
My Endocrinologist gave me klonopin to take at night but it makes me feel a little dopey the next day. I'm sorry that I do not have more to say.
