I was just in the hospital for and infection I got on my stomach all around my fribromas I got a scratch or something tha t got infected and spread it didn't have anything to do withnf it self but having nf i guess you can be more proned to get infections especially if you have clusters of fribromas because it is a little harder to clean and keep dry.

Has anyone else had the same experience in some way.
By the way I am doing great now.

" I do have the "clusters" of fibromas and have the problem with them that they itch like crazy. Sometimes I guess they get caught on my clothes cause they bleed for no apparent reason. I will be especially careful from now on, thank you so much for sharing this info. I would not have thought of that. I am having a bunch removed from my chest and belly on Friday. I had to beg a doc and agree to pay 3,000 out of pocket to get him to do it. NF really sucks. "
