What's the worst, strangest, or funniest place you've fallen asleep?

I know having N&C is no joke but have you fallen asleep in some odd places and really laughed about it afterward. The expression on some peoples faces when you wake up is hilarious. They just don't know how to deal with it.

The MRI scanner is one of my best, public places is common, public transport a given. I don't even remember flights to various places.

" well i recently had a full sleep attack and cataplexy atttack whilst waiting at the drs. for a prescription that he was not happy to give me... after the attack, he seemed quite keen to hand over the 'controled drugs' that he was soo reluctant to beforehand! yeah, they had already called the ambulance, even tough it is on my notes and they all know me well at the surgery, and i wear a talisman for information.... no-one bothered to read it. typical... came round to a load of scared faces asking me to sit up etc.. trying to state ( in a cataplexic way) that i cannot move or talk yet.. blah blah blah.. fed up of this.. i really am. " Tattoo, rock concert...
Wow..!! some of these posts are amazing.

I fell asleep in front of the TV one time which subsequently caught fire. A needle that was on top of the TV somehow fell inside the TV and shorted it out. My mom came in from work and found me in the chair asleep with the TV burning. I guess I was quite lucky. It seems hilarious now. "

" Worst place to fall asleep: top of the stairs. went half way down, caught my hand under the bannister rail and was left hanging by my dislocated thumb.
Worst cataplexy: last oct, in front of my line manager. Full cataplexy, down for about 2 mins. He later told me he thought I had died. Open plan office so now everyone knows but no one understands. Because of health and safety all went into an overwhelming risk assessment mode. If I lose my job this would be why.
Best - Tesco Supermarket staff have always been great. They must train their staff about stuff like this. Took me to my car, put my shopping by for me, and checked on me 30 mins later. I was ok by then and they helped me finish shopping. No big fuss, just polite and concerned.
Scariest - Buses - never again!! They thought I was drunk or on drugs. Asked me to get off the bus even though all I had done was fall in the aisle and been unable to say what was wrong. They just drove off and left me. It was daytime but I have never really got over it.
Funniest - my birthday party. We all went out to the seaside/fun fair. I was so excited all day I kept having small cataplexy. By the end of the day my friends were experts in catching me before the floor and I had hand prints on my arms in bruise colours. We all kept singing the Weebles wobble but they don't fall down song!
Best response - from my team manager (who has a sense of humor about it which is great) he always asks if I want a glass of water. I reminded him it wasn't a faint and he said; 'not to drink; to pour over your head!' "

" Maybe my reply is not as good but I fell asleep while driving and that's what made me get tested.

I also feel asleep during a movie - I saw the beginning and the end and the couple we were with asked how I liked the movie and I played along and said "great"!!!!! "

" Well, mine may not sound funny, but it really was to me. I was at work. I was on my computer completing a report that I needed to send in to the government. I fell asleep while I was typing. My office chair does not have arms so I fell in the floor. I landed on the surge protector and all the plugs and cords for my computer, printer, etc. Now lets keep in mind that I am the director in a daycare center and some of the children see me hit the floor. When I was able to get up and move around, I called to one of my teachers and asked her did she hear a thump come from office. She said yes. I asked her what did she think it was. She said, "I don't know, it sounded like someone fell". I asked if she had considered checking on this person. She said no. She is no longer employed!! "

" last year, i fell asleep standing up during the benediction prayer of the convocation ceremony at my graduation from college. all the graduates were standing up in front of the church of the campus, and i remember hearing my friends asking each other: "is he asleep? is he ok?" when everybody said Amen, I opened my eyes a few seconds later and explained that in my denomintion, we have to bow our heads and close our eyes. I was too embarrased to tell my friends that the prayer was actually a good excuse to let myself doze off. I was just diagnosed wih Narcolepsy last month, so even I had no idea what was happening to me! LOL "
