" Hi JoeyRose,
My wife Leslie is the one with the MS but we view it as it is both of us. We can understand the frustration especially when we are dealing with Primary Progressive MS. Leslie has mitro-valve prolapse and was diagnosed 6 years prior to her first MS attack. She was not taking anything for it at the time. The doctor at that time was leaning towards it being handled through diet and excirsize. When the MS kicked in then it was a whole new ball game. Leslie is now taking a steriod to help maintian the blood pressure which has help greatly to reduce the mitro-valve prolape problem. The one thing that I would strongly recommend is before you start any new meds check to see it will react with what you have now. "

" I guess yourr in my club!!! I had diabetes since I was 3 yrs old. I was dx with MS jan 05 and had a massive heart attack March 05. I now take 11 drugs daily inlcuding the rrebiff. I look at these as a bunch of speed bumps and figured,oh well shit happens and life goes on. Or you can look at depeche mode's lyrics from the song blasphemous rumors. " I dont want to start any blasphemous rumors, but I think that GOds got a sick sense of humor and when I die I expect to find him Laughing!!". Take the meds and just rock on!!!! Dont let it get you down, just laugh about it and try to get pitty when you can. I couldnt even get a pitty "woopy" from my wife!!!! Take it slezy and have a great day!!!! "

" Hi JoeyRose, I have a heart murmur, but I got it from rheumatic fever which is what the doctors believe kicked me into MS. Docs are watching my mitro valve, but so far I'm doing ok. Murmurs can be caused by a number of things, sometimes they disappear too. Oh, if we could only dance MS away. Hugs "
