I know there was a post about this a couple weeks back... but who has gotten a tattoo after being diagnosed? I also kind of remember someone giving a reason why you shouldn't... but heck if I can remember that. I'm lucky I remember my name some days. ha ;) Anyhow.. for those of you who have gotten one after being diagnosed... anything weird happen? I'm itching to go get another one.. ;)

i got mine way before my symptoms started and would like to get another but not if its going to send me into a spiral of feeling worse

Well, I have one and I got it a few years after being diagnosed and in remission for 1 yr. I didnt notice anything different from the tatoo but I am not an expert either.....

I got 3 done after I was dx. I never noticed anything changed. I had the same symptoms that I had prior to getting tatts. Maybe they didn't affect me. What have you heard about them before? To tell you the truth it never crossed my mind as a question regarding MS.
What would you all want your next piece to be?

I GOT ONE TWO WEEKS AGO AND EVERYTHING IS FINE.I REALLY THINK THE DO'S AND DONT'S WITH M.S. ARE A CROC. EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT AND JUST BECAUSE I WAS DRINKING MILK BEFORE MY LAST ATTACK I DONT BELIEVE THAT IS WHAT SET IT OFF.ANYBODY THAT WOULD DO A STUDY ON THAT HAS TO MUCH TIME ON THERE HANDS.I SAY WHAT THE HELL I HAVE M.S. I don't know but I heard that you can't have an MRI on the spot where the tattoo is. I am no expert - I would check with your doc first!

I've gotten 6 since my dx, in all different spots, and the feeling was no different than the ones I got before the dx. I guess it varies from person to person, but I'm waiting to get my next one too!
