Hi Kittykay,
When I was working, I became very overwhelmed with my job, I had a hard time to stay on focus. My job required quick thought and actions at times, and I just could no longer do it. Sometimes my thought process drags...........and when it comes to quick movement of the body, I sometimes get dizzy. Medications can also sometimes, play a part in that. That is my experience anyway.
Hugs,
Kat

I work full time. I have issues like foggy brain and organizational difficulties. I also have problems with staying focused: I get distracted and have problems getting back to what I was doing and then flounder. I guess you could say that it's a problem with "multi-tasking".
If it's a boring job, it could just be the job and not your MS, haha!
Wish I had some words of wisdom, but I don't - I just keep trying to muddle through my day. The problem seems to "wax and wane" with the brain issues, some days good, some days bad. :(
If I stay hydrated, sometimes that helps, but not sure what your bathroom issues are with your job.

Hey Kay. I was working 8-2 six days a week at my most current job. It was killing me and i was certain it was going to send me to an early wheelchair so i quit on sunday. But it was also a a very labor intensive job. I'm now looking for something along the lines of office work.

I work full time, and some days I feel like I have A.D.D. Can't concentrate on one thing too long and find myself not wanting to complete a task...I have to kick my own ass and tell myself to get it in gear!!! LOL!!!

I work from 7:30am to 1:30pm M-F and by that time I can tell I need to go home because I am exhausted. The brain shuts down and all I want to do is go to sleep but life doesn't allow that:-). Medical billing is for the most part boring.

I know how you feel, kittykay. Not being on any meds, I can't blame it on that.
I have a desk job. If I sit for a good while I usually feel okay, but then I'll get up to go to the printer and ugh...the dizziness strikes and then I'm nauseated for a good while after that.
I usually just muddle through the day, like LilMargie said, and try not to let on that I feel like total cr*p.

i work on my feet all day. i'm sure it has it's benifits you know? keep the circulation going, eliminating that "getting up and feeling dizzy"....but then you have the "ms" walk for people to see. and the weakness. and the pain. it's a tough disease...i feel for everyone. working...not working, i don't think any of it's easy. do what you do til you can't do it anymore...sorry, this wasn't very "uplifting" was it? hang in, hang on...
