" yeah, isn't that funny? I just ignored it.

Ya know... EVERYTHING I was told to avoid, SOMEONE is going to say take a LOT of, of course, after I give it all up.

Since I quit cigarettes Since 04/26/06, it's been: Two years, two months, five days, 4 hours, 11 minutes and 3 seconds. 23915 cigarettes not smoked, saving $6,576.69. Life saved: 11 weeks, 6 days, 55 minutes. Since 8/07, spent $17472, billed, on lawyer's fees.

I've seen reports that smoking and nicotene may be Beneficial. Come on, MAKE UP YOUR MINDS!

How many times have they flip flopped on what kind of toothbrush we should use? or Eat Eggs, Avoid Eggs, watch out for this, no, wait, that's GOOD

I think once major conglomerations start to seriously lose money on things that are grown that suddenly aren't Selling as well, all of a sudden becomes GOOD

WINE, what do we do with our vines if everyone stops? all of a sudden, every drink you get has white grapes in it, they gotta use it for something.

Coffee beans are piling up, so now it's GOOD for ya.

I don' t know... I gave up caffeine, and nicotene.. so now they're GOOD. "

" But they're not losing money on coffee. With all the Starbucks and other same type places, coffee is more popular than ever. I know what you mean, though, if you are old enough you have jumped one way and the other and back again on all these things. THis story is interesting but they need to see if it has the same effect on humans. "

" hahaha, pretty funny, Larry, but so true. I think common sense is the secret to life, like they say, "everything in moderation".

Larry, you HAVE to quit counting the number of days & cigarrettes, hon. As long as you do, it's giving them too much importance in your life. They are nothing to you. You conquered them. "

" I don't even really look at it much, it's a counter for Everyone Else LOL. Though I do notice how slowly the money goes up compared to my billed lawyer fees. Should only go up one more time though, I'm sure the bill is already in the mail! "

" Finally, something I don't have to give up after hearing it wasn't good for me. I'm not sure that the theory about the caffeine will hold true for humans with MS, but at least it gives me an excuse to keep both my hot and cold caffeine! "

" I don't know how coffee effects others, but really look forward to at least a couple "pail" (mugs) full in the morning. It helps me wake up and focus. A good start to the day for me.
I tried cutting out the coffee, but found it suits me just fine.
It depends on the individual I think.

" Years ago my husband and I changed to decaf because of stories of caffeine being bad, then a few years ago I read a suggestion from a doctor that caffeine (coffee) is a good idea for fighting fatigue so we went back to caffeinated. Over the day I probably drink three cups. I enjoy it and do not see any negative effects on my general health. I think tea is a good option for caffeine, but I love my coffee. "

" As interesting as this article is...
I've worked in the coffee industry most of my working life, albeit only about 8 years, and so consumed more than my share of coffee. Unfortunately was still dx'd with ms.... still enjoy coffee just not as much now. :) "
