This is TOO important for us NOT to know. Please read this response I received earlier today from a fellow DS member (re-posted with her permission):
"...but after you told me you could google the user id, I wanted to research that a bit. I went onto a different DS support group site and picked a user name at random. It pulled up links to every message board and group the lady belonged to. After reading just a few posts from the various sites, I was able to find out where she lived, what her interests were, etc. It was scary. Took less than an hour. What if I had been a stalker or a predator. She posted a little about herself on different sites and didn't think anyone could find out anything from so little information. But when you google the name it is all available at once. I had no idea people could do that. It scared me for her. Especially if she had a photo of herself. There are alot of underage kids on the daily strength message boards. These things should be more private." My fellows, PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT THE IDENTIFYING INFO YOU CHOOSE TO REVEAL.
