I'm not dx, I have 1 lesion on C2, elevated Igg and >5 o bands on my LP. Right now I am only getting B12 injections (just started).

Here's my question, they ran some blood work and I guess I'm unsure of the results. B12 is 1500, folate is 13.3 and MMA is 217. Anyone know what it all means?

I've been tested for all the usual suspects as well, lupus, lyme, RA, etc.

thanks.

" I just got the results over the phone. I tried looking them up on-line and the b12 looks fine but I can't find "normals" for the other two. "

" MMA normal range should show on your test results, maybe 73-376? so 217 is in range.

B12 should be 200-1100? so 1500 is high?

and folate should be >5.4, so 13.3 is ok

your doc should know "

" Thanks, my neuro ordered the tests but they were done through my PCP. The nurse called with the results so I didn't get much info.

back in nov. when my symptoms started my b12 was 300ish so my PCP started my on supplements (pills) now the neuro says no pills, injections. Seems odd if my levels are ok now. "

" You can do a google search of "lab results explanation". Also, look for your lab's name and google it to see if they provide info, such as a comparative range scale. "
