Has anyone ever felt this- I was driving my truck the other day when out of the blue I felt my head kinda get a tight feeling and got warm and clamy, started shaking (hands) thought that I was going to pass out (very scary). I have never had this type of episode in any of my previous flairs, had labs drawn today, see my GP next week, called my neuro, not sure what it could be, liver?, kidneys?, new MS symptom? any thoughts. Thanks
P>S> I have been on Avonex for the past 2 years. Quit smoking 55 days ago, on lisinipril for BP

" This has happened to me on a few occasions. It was really scary. Now that Kay brings it up, it's usually happened when I haven't eaten all day. "

" This happened to me in the past and I started with anxiety attacks. Not fun!! I went to therapy for awhile to get all of it under control. It's better now, but on occasion I start feeling funny. Good Luck. "

" How long have you been on your bp med? What you speak of, and a dry hacking cough are common side effects of that one.
Have no idea what the cause is, just remember to not blame everything on your MS. All of us can be guilty of that once in a while. Once when having eye problems I went straight to Optic Neuritis with my worries. Turns out it was ocular migraines. Who knew you could have them without pain? Since then I don't worry until someone tells me I need to. "

" I had an episode or two like that before i knew i even had MS. It was at work too so i couldn't even sit down and relax my way through it. A couple days later i got bad double vision and "body buzzing" 2 trips to ER and a hospital stay later i was diagnosed with MS. Since that it's only happened one more time.

Now as for what causes it? I haven't the slightest clue. "

" I've had several of these episodes, especially when I was still working. I had LOTS of tests run, and it was discovered that I had developed an allergy to walnuts and peanuts. (made my blood pressure drop) It was also decided that severe fatigue compounded the attacks. Allergy testing may be worth a look if no other cause can be found "
