Sickness not always MS and Medicare

I just posted about having thyroid cancer and having to take radioactive iodine. Here is just something I ponder, when are my symptoms MS and when are they not. I was sick for a long time thinking that every symptom was MS. I certainly got an education when I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I had it last Thursday and I go to post-op appt. today.
Oh, another thing, I have to find another primary care doctor, who not only takes Medicare, but goes to the hospital when his/her patients are hospitalized. My current doctor quit the practice and part of it was the reimbursement for Medicare. She complained to me about how she hadn't gotten a raise and on, and on about Medicare. Well, I don't choose to be on it, but am reguired to be like so many of you in MS world. Are there still doctors who actually care about their patients? I am sorry that they don't get compensated the amount in which they want, but that is not our problem. I just need a doctor who cares. Suggestions on finding one???
