" All I can say is that it now will take me about 6 months to get through a small bottle of white wine. We might even use it in the odd recipee. No tolerance for alchohol at all "

" Several weeks ago, another post on this topic was made.

Based on the replies to that, I tried drinking again for the first time after diagnosis.

I found what many people had posted to be true. That drinking was actually helpful.

Somehow hazarded an explanation as to why. Since there's not a search engine on this page, you'd have to manually scan the for the old post. It was very interesting, though. "

" Christin - thanks for the post, but that's not the one!

I wasn't a member of the board then, It was a more recent post on alcohol. Some people said that it was actually beneficial and someone tried to guess why.

You gave me a good idea for saving posts as URL links though. Often I see great posts and then can never find them again. But if I save them as URL's then I can reread them or share when someone else asks the same question. Thanks "

" I rarely drink. I've had a few margaritas since being diagnosed and with the exception of one (that one was a doozy!), have tolerated them well without any ill effects. I'm looking forward to having more than one margarita when I complete my degree this summer! Rather than go through graduation, I plan to celebrate with family and friends and lots of margaritas. Guess I'll find out what happens after TWO! LOL I haven't had a drink since...hmmm...don't remember! Guess it was a margarita though!

" I am not drinking near as much as I used to before my dx. It doesn't seem to have any bad effects with my meds. My neuro told me not to, my Rebif nurse said I could. I just don't drink too much anymore. "
