I scanned the posts and didn't see anything on this topic going back several pages.

You've probably seen results of the study that show that mice who get the caffeinne equivalent of 6-8 cups of coffee/day don't get the Mice equivlent of MS.

Study also points out that what works on mice MS doesn't always work on human MS.

But, have any of you tried this? Have any of you done this in the past and still got diagnosed with MS?

I'm thinking of trying with tea. I don't get any caffeine now.

" Lotte, I am a coffee fanatic! I am a true lover of coffee, I grind my beans daily. I drink anywhere from 3 to 8 cups depending upon day! Coffee is my only caffeine but if the study was true, I do not think I'd be going thru Dx as we speak! Still taste good though! Sherry "

" I have never drank any kind of coffee. I do drink quite a bit of diet pepsi though. :-) I have at least one can a day - usually two. I know, I know...that's not good for me, but I love it and for some reason it's the only thing that can calm me down when I am feeling anxiety. "

" ok. You caffeineholics have already tested the mouse/caffeine thing yourselves.

Doesn't sound like it works for humans. "

" I've been slamming a least a pot of coffee a day for over 30 years. Blessed be the bean, for she brings life.
If anything, I'd be an example that caffeine causes MS. "
