" I had extreme dizziness for a time while I was flaring. (I seem to have long flares). MS dizziness is related to lesions in the cerebellum area. Do you know where all of your lesions are?

Also - your doc should be able to address the dizziness. You shouldn't have to suffer needlessly. Ask about it?

I hope you get some relief. "

" Hi, i'm new here and have not yet been diagnosed. . .but i'll tell you when I started having "strong" symptoms, dizziness was the worse! It made me feel sick to my stomach and on top of that, I drive my kids to school. I felt very unsafe! It lasted only about 3 weeks but it was bad! That's what initially took me to the doctor. And now I'm here. . .in limbo! I truly hope it get's better for you, it's very discomforting! "

" I have dizziness also, fall ALOT,stayed home almost all the time. And started feeling very alone. It ended up causing me to go into a deep depression that kept spiraling deeper. Because I wasn't ready to go out in public and be embarassed over falling and stumbling about. But you have to get out and do stuff don't stay home. My dr. got worried and sent me to a psych last month and she told me that it was time for me to accept it and get out there and do the things I liked to do, if that meant using a cane, walker, wheelchair, then so be it. Because it really isn't healthy to just stay home all the time like your life has ended. I haven't asked my neuro about med for dizziness, but I have saw on here where people are on some different things for vertigo and stuff, so ask your dr about a med. to help with this. Don't stay home and waste your life away wishing you were out there and feeling alone. Hope you get something that helps you out:) Angie "
