Well, today it was 27C. Hot out. You would think after a brutal snowy winter I would be happy. No way. Far from it. I just remembered how much of an outcast I feel in hot humid weather. The heat is not my friend. Mind you, us MSers do not have to worry about premature aging because of the sun! I guess that is the plus side of it all.
I just want to be able to rake my yard without feeling ill from the heat. I want to go on bike rides and go for a walk with my dog. I should not complain. I can still walk so maybe I should just accept that heat sucks for me and get indoor hobbies. What summer activities do you miss? Kimmer Posted on 04/19/08, 10:04 pm |

I miss spending the entire day outside, riding my bike to the park with my kids in the trailer-thingy with a picnic lunch and WAY too many toys and not even thinking of coming home until we are covered in mosquito bites, lightly sunburned, and the sun set hours ago...*sigh*

Just miss being outside without any affects. I received my free cooling vest, garden hat and bra inserts from MSAA a few eeks ago. Go online, print out hw forms and fill them out to get yours. It hasn't been hot enough here to use them yet, but looking forward to see if it helps

I will not let this desease take away the most desirable season of them all. If it gets to hot head to the lake, if it gets to humid head to the lake, if its hot and rqaining head to the cabin by the lake. Just saying, Where I am living , if you fall asleep during the month of july yopu missed summer. The heat and humidity do suck and I feel for anyone dealing with it and MS.
