Swank diet

What is the thinking or experience any of you on this site have had with the Swank diet? I discovered it a few months after I was diagnosed 12 years ago, and I stayed with it with good results for three years; however, eventually I started eating chocolate again and stopped counting fat grams. I definitely went downhill after that even though I have never gone back to eating large amounts of saturated fat. Dr. Swank has had great results with people who really eat no more than 15 grams a day of saturated fat and add olive oil and omega 3 to diet. I am trying to get myself mentally ready to get back on the diet. I could use some support if anyone else wants to try it. Oh, by the way, Dr. Swank says don't take the ABC drugs.

" Avonex, betaseron, and copaxone were called ABC when they were the big three drugs. Now there are more. I only used Avonex two months, and was not sold on it even then. I quit because I started being seriously spastic and take nothing since then but zanaflex for spasticity. I wrote in another discussion that even that is better now. I believe ief you can really follow Swank's diet you don't need the drugs, but it is hard if you love chocolate and cheese. He has a website and a great book that explains it. I wish I had a link. I'll look it up and add it. "
