Hi you guys
This is exciting news
In the Feb 14th Issue of the New England Journal of Medicine a study using Rituxan (Rituximab) for the treatment of Remitting-Relapsing MS was published with great results

Here are the details:
1) 104 patients were enrolled 69 to receive Rituxan (on days 1 and 15) and 35 to receive placebo
2) As many of you know Rituxan is used in the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis and is a monoclonal antibody directed against the CD20 antigen on B-lymphocytes
3) CONCLUSIONS FROM THIS STUDY: A single course of rituximab significantly reduced both MRI and clinical evidence of inflammatory activity for 48 weeks!!!

For those who want more details:

" Hi there
Put LDN in the search box and you can see many discussions weve had (in the MS community among others) on LDN.

" So Dr.O does that mean you have no knowledge of LDN? AND THE anecdotal evidence of 73% response, favorable. At a cost of 20$ per month. MRI evidence shows stop progression. A drug that has been approved since 1984. Once a day pill. It raises endorphin levels in the body 2-300% for up to 18 Hrs. Allowing the bodies own immune system to balance itself. That is what I have found as far as Info. "

" Hi there:
Patients in this study received 1000 mg injection of Rituxan on days 1 and 15. This study published in the New England Journal of Medicine followed patients to 48 weeks but there are ongoing studies obviously.
