This article suggests there may be some serious issues with the drug Tysabri: M.S. Drug Linked to Liver Damage By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Published: February 28, 2008 WASHINGTON (AP) — Shares of two drug makers, Biogen Idec and the Elan Corporation, fell Wednesday after the companies reported that some patients had liver injuries after taking the drug Tysabri, a treatment for multiple sclerosis and Crohn’s disease. The companies issued a warning to doctors that signs of liver injury appeared in patients as early as six days after first taking Tysabri. I am going from my 2nd infusion tomorrow. The first one caused cement legs & 5 days chest pains. But I had more energy & concentration.
I have had blood tests done 3 times in 4 weeks.
