What brand of shoes do people wear when their feet are so sore?

Every pair of shoes I own feels awful right now because the bottoms of my feet are so tender and sore.

Does anyone have a very cushy tennis shoe to recommend? Or any type of shoe for that matter.

" I feel for you. I went through this in OCtober. After trying on a million shoes I finally got New Balance Walking shoes and they were great. Socks....thin, light, and breathable. Oh I hope your feet feel better soon! "

" easyspirit has a lot of sandals with a sneaker type bottom, those are the best for me. Also, nd this amazes me, I have to have a little heel. I always wore flat shoes but now if I don't have a heel I lose my balnces and my legs ache quicker. It has to be a chunk heel though. I just got a pair of crocs, the jury is still out. "

" ooooh I want a pair of Ugg boots...I have been shopping for a pair...but I haven't found any I can afford yet....
maybe I will get them by next winter LOL...
I just went to the local sports store and tried on a whole bunch of shoes...sport good stores usually carry the best tennis shoes...
I hope you find some...that work for you...I went thru several pair before I found a pair that worked for me.
I wish they had an exchange policy that if they don't work for you after the first week you can bring them back...but they don't...so...I have bought several pair of shoes...the only bonus to that is my daughter can wear them now LOL..
many hugs
Morgaine "

" I have always loved and found nike to be the most comfortable. Now nike shocks for me but they all fit different.
I had a bad spell for a month or so to where no matter what I wore drove me crazy and hurt. However I did end up wearing my house slippers, something like the boots someone suggested but they are short , just same texture. I didn't care what anyone said or thought when they saw them, they were light tan or brown, didn't think they looked bad. Let them walk a few steps in my shoes and see what they have to say then :o) Didn't wear socks though, they were warm enough without because they drove me crazy and hurt too. Then when I came home off with those and on with my nice furry fluffy slippers that felt like walking on nice soft cushions I guess :o)
Sure hope it gets better for you and in the mean time you find something that gives you comfort!! "

" I'm with New Balance, too. I almost lived in them at the start - even wore them when I was having a nap - but putting them on was sheer torture. If it's any consolation, the burning feet thing should pass. "

" New Balance here also. If you go to a New Balance store they are real good about assisting you with the shoe that is best for you and they have some great cushion inserts. "
