I am having alot of lost time lately it happens anywhere, today I went to the pdoc and it happened twice in the lobby, and my therapist came around and reoriented me. I see the pdoc and left to go home,, therapist drove up from his lunch and I was parked in the car in the lot totally gone he had to reorient again... I told him I was going to go get my meds then home he said ok but to call when I got there, so I am driving down the road and hit a crub thank god nothing really bad happened I decided to go home instead of the store.. as soon as I got here I called him and told him what happened and that I was going to stay in for the week end..I have lots lots of time since I have been here but not sure how much..I lost time in his office yesterday and he had me go inside and find someone to come out I did that but no one came, I did this 2 or 3 times and finially someone came but they were from another system that is great ..I know there are other systems but I thought they had all intergrated when we started intergrating yrs ago. I guess not.. anyway when I used to "share" time we talked to one aother and or wrote who was out doing what and I and others felt comfortable doing that well now with the discoating I just kinda go to either a large black hole or a large white light whole or somewhere in between .. any way this is totally different can someone make a comment if this has happened to you..sorry this is so long...sweets..teresa etal

" When I was working I was losing time a lot. I was sure I was sitting at my work station and doing my job, but my boss kept asking where I was for the last half hour, or hour, etc. I was so confused. She showed me the computer log in sheets, and it showed how my computer was dormant for long stretches of time when I thought I was working.

I have also had the experience of going to bed and then 'waking up' in the middle of downtown, miles from home, (we don't drive) in the dark at 2 in the morning. And having to get home from that situation.

I can totally relate to lost time is what I'm trying to say. Whether the lost time is in big incrimint of small it can be scary and confusing. I have had to set up a guard at 'the window', which is our only means to get out in control of the body. He knows who comes out when and can prevent certain people from coming out. He has a lock and key for the window. It has helped a lot. I'm not saying this method is fool proof, no method is, because as all people with DID know our people will find new ways to take control if they really want it, but it has helped.

Hope my ramble helped LOL

" thank you for your reply it does help knowing that I am not alone...I just wonder what has started this all back up now.. we have been dealing with somestuff in therapy but it should not be enough for this.. as for having some one watch at the window we dont have anyone that does that we take turns usually but now they all appear to be gone and I appear to be the only one here it is very scarey and I understand about you being miles for home I do drive but have night blindness so we should not be on the streets at night...and we end up miles and miles from home to other states in fact..not to long ago we "woke up" in the parking lot of a motel for gods sake.. I dont know how long I can deal with this.. sorry for my ramble..thanks again for being here... I dont sleep either so I am really up all hours...thanks again ...teresa "
