I am going in for stem cell transplant in a short while. How many others out there that have been through it? How many people out there are preparing for it?

susz, I haven't had one but I have met several people who have. One lady I met has had two and has been in remission for like 10 years. I pray that yours does equally well.

My husband had stem cell transplant last May (2007). He is doing well now. He did it as inpatient and we are home now. There are still certain things that we have to be carefull about but generally speaking everything is fine.
