MY dad had a bone marrow transplant 4 years ago. We found out Tuesday the MM had come back and is eating one of his bones. He's in the hospital awaiting surgery.
The first time around, I wasn't scared. I don't know if I was just young and niave. This time around, I must be older and wiser, because I'm really scared. He has great drs, so that helps. I don't know what to do. Posted on 05/22/08, 09:05 am |

just be there to support him and smile all the time.i have bones doing the same thing [4 ribs so far] and all i want is positive people there to keep my spirits up.stay positive smile supportive and wish him the best from us.

Hang in there and really all you can do is be there for your dad. I just had a bone marrow transplant and I've been home for 3 weeks now but was gone for 6 weeks and I loved getting funny cards and just someone to be there with me.
