A friend of mine is taking Revlimid 25mg daily on days 1-21 of a 28 day cycle. He is also taking 40mg od Dexamethasone every Friday. He is having severe headaches and dizziness. These symptoms are the worst Sunday to Tuesday and then begin to lessen during the week but never going away. Has anyone else had these same type of symptoms with this treatment? Any recommendations on who to contact or where to look for more information? Thanks for your help.

I am taking 15mgRevlimid(21 day cycle) and decadron one day a week. I started out on 25mg. but it was lowered after I got a bad case of shingles. (I am only 5"1 and not overweight). When I first started taking Revlimid (summer 07)it made me have severe itching on my head and face-bendryl helped and it went away in about a week. I also have slight motion sickness for part of the 3 weeks on...I take 1/2pill of meclizine to help with that. I only had to take one pill this month..so I think that is getting better. I haven't had any headaches. Your doctor should be albe to help you with the side effects. Please tell him/her.
